Description - Ensure fulfillment of school policies and concepts. - Meet parents and visitors coming to the school, and ensuring they sign in the visitors register - Hold visitors in the reception area until directed to the person they are visiting - Direct persons to correct destination within the school - Record student lateness and direct them to their Principal on late arrival - Record staff lateness and absence - Record and monitor students early release - Contact parents who are late picking up their children - Ensure that students are transferred to the main reception area after school hours - Answer telephone calls, screen and direct calls to the appropriate person or department in the school - Take and relay messages received from callers to School Administration - Provide information related to the school to callers - Deal with queries from the public and parents - Ensure knowledge of staff movements in and out of the school - General administrative and clerical support - Receive and sort mail and deliveries - Schedule appointments - Maintain an appointment diary either manually or electronically - Ensure that the reception area is tidy and maintained
Qualifications - ADL / B. Sc. Arts. - Experience in the same positions is not a must.
